About

Sally Chamness trained with Charles Watson at Advanced Massage Therapeutics School in Louisville, KY and graduated in April 2010.

The 600 hour course is one of the best in the state of KY, with a 97% pass rate for the National Certification board for Therapeutic massage and bodywork. This is well above the national pass rate of 67% and state wide pass rate of 77%.

In addition to the training curriculum Sally also participated in the certification course for Baby’s First Massage. Her certification allows her to teach the baby’s first massage class to expecting and new parents, which she finds a rewarding gift to offer.

It is Sallys goal to share the benefits of Massage Therapy with everyone, and to become one of the leading Massage Therapists in Scotland.

This area of my website is designed to let you get to know not only Wee Sally better, but also to provide education regarding the Massage Therapy profession.
I hope to provide insightful reviews on Books, Music and products that I use in my practice, as well as discuss News and Research articles I have read, and Continuing education classes I have attended.

I would also like to use this space as an opportunity to provide recommendations and reviews of any Massage Therapy clinics that I have visited on my travels.

If there are any products, locations or articles you would like me to review, please consider emailing me via our contact page.

Susan Munro trained at The Beauty Therapy Centre’s Whitsunday Islands campus, deep in the heart of Northern Australia’s spa country. Graduating December 2004 with a Diploma of Aromatherapy and Certificate IV in Remedial Massage, she worked on the prestigious Hamilton Island resort, where she treated holidaymakers to a selection of spa and massage techniques. Moving from this tropical haven to a simulating urban environment the following year, she has experience running her own business from her home in both Sydney and Melbourne, Australia.

Susan is qualified to practice Swedish and Remedial Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology, and Relaxation Massage. She also has a deep knowledge of Aromatherapeutic oils and application techniques, and is happy to create a very special blend tailored to your individual needs. She has experience in creating specialised beauty products for use in facials and massage body treatments, and delights in combining her knowledge of these fields to provide a holistic, well-rounded yet targeted treatment.

Susan is passionate about the ancient art and modern practice of Reiki (a chinese word, meaning Universal Life Energy), which utilises the human energy field of the practitioner and recipient to encourage healing. It helps to bring the energy field back into balance, and is a technique that can be utilised while practising massage therapy. Susan currently holds a Certificate II in Reiki.

Susan is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
