FAQ
Here is a list of the most Frequently asked questions, should you have a question which does not appear here, please contact us.
Q: With deep tissue massages, where is the cutoff for “good pain” and just “pain” pain?
A: You should never feel pain whilst being massaged. We do not believe in the “No Pain, No Gain” way of thinking. Our clients should always feel comfortable, and our therapists will communicate regularly to ensure that the pressure is appropriate for the client.
The client themselves should know the “Sweet spot” for deep pressure. We want it to be in the “It hurts so good” area, but no more than that.
Q: Why do you charge based on time, rather than per massage type?
A: Every clients needs are different, and each different modality is not a “one size fits all” service. Each massage you receive will be tailored to your needs for that day, established during your client intake period.
If you would like a specific modality for your session, please let your therapist know. Our job is to ensure that you get the massage that you want.
Q: Do I have to get naked?
A: Not if you don’t want to. When asked to get on the massage table, you will be directed to undress to your level of comfort, this can be as much or as little as you desire. Our therapists are trained in appropriate draping methods to ensure that you are never exposed, and should never feel as though you are. They are also trained to work around any clothing limitations they may be faced with.
Q: Do I have to talk during my Massage?
Not at all. Some of our clients enjoy the massage time to socialize, others enjoy the peace and quiet offered during your massage appointment. Your therapist is not there to chat, they are there to help you relax, and to perform the requested service, not chat your ear off.
Q: How do you feel about the constant “Happy Endings” jokes?
A: At Wee Sally’s we provide Therapeutic Massage. We aim to facilitate the bodies natural ability to heal itself, and offer relief and comfort from muscle fatigue, Injury and chronic pain. We do not provide Erotic Massage services, and anyone who approaches our therapists to request this type of service, may be asked to leave.
